Clever Cow Creamery is a bright, cheerful ice cream shop in the heart of Eastsound on beautiful Orcas Island. Clever Cow is open March - October and has something sweet for everyone, from ice cream and sorbet to shrub floats and affogatos. Inhale the aroma of freshly made waffle cones and customize your treats with locally-made fudge and caramel sauces and our DIY sprinkles bar.

Local, hand-made ice creams and sorbets

A rotating selection of traditional and unique flavors, including gluten-free, vegan ice cream and sorbets from Lopez Island Creamery. Your choice of a cup or a cone - choose from a cake, sugar, or freshly made waffle cone!

Sundaes

Your choice of ice cream with our own island-made deep dark fudge or salted caramel sauce, choice of toppings from our DIY sprinkles bar, whipped cream, and of course, a cherry on top!

Milkshakes & malts

Your choice of ice cream, whipped into frothy deliciousness with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Add malt, or try a shake with deep, dark fudge or salted caramel.

Shrub and root beer floats

Made with your choice of ice cream or sorbet and your choice of root beer or a locally-made Girl Meets Dirt shrub. (What’s a shrub? A sweet yet acidic mixer made from a combination of concentrated fruit, aromatics, sugar, and vinegar.)

Hot drinks and affogatos

Local Goods coffee, tea, hot cocoa, espresso, and lattes.

Try an affogato! Your choice of ice cream with a shot or two of espresso poured on top!

Fudge & Truffles

Locally handcrafted fudge from The Fudge Ladies at Just Heavenly Fudge on Lopez Island (available in a variety of rotating flavors) and beautiful handmade truffles.
